To answer the most obvious question of all: “Jon Matthieu” is me! A Photographer, Cinematographer & Drone Operator (and avid Cat Lover).

I’m based in Melbourne, Australia but I’m always on the go and love to travel and came come to you on request to capture you or your loved ones.
Just across the city? Out to regional Victoria? Across Australia? Somewhere Overseas? No worries!

I’m a contemporary storyteller. Capturing YOUR story in either a realistic or fictional depiction (your choice) – detailing all the little moments in both candid photojournalistic and posed moments. 

I have a creative photojournalistic style. I’ll capture everything spontaneously, as it happens, when it happens. Even if we have to recreate something, there won’t be any rigid posing and forced “cheese” smiles. We’ll create our own little fun and relaxed memoir.
